Countdown to the next FUN Convention

Count Down to the Next FUN Show

Welcome to the home page for the 69th Annual FUN Convention. This years theme is Raising the Next Generation of Numismatists.

The U.S. Mint has confirmed they will be attending the January FUN Show. If you look at the product schedule on their website you will notice on Thursday at 12 noon they will start the sales of the Harriet Tubman Commerative Coin Program. You can use this opportunity to get the early release versions of this 3 coin program.

We have received confirmations to attend the FUN Convention from The Piedmont Gold Panners, Dennis Boggs as Abraham Lincoln, Pat McBride as Ben Franklin, and possibly George Washington. Cindy Calhoun will be continuing Ray Dillard's legacy by making elongated show coins.

If you are interested in having a booth at the 69th Annual FUN Convention you will need to contact Katie Williams. Table availability for the January FUN Convention is extremely limited. Our convention co-ordinator has informed me she is down to her last 11 booths in the regular U.S. section and 5 in the foreign and ancients section. The budget section is SOLD OUT. Several new booths were added from the original plan. There is no more room to expand. If you looking for a booth at the 2024 FUN convention you need to act now, or go on the dreaded waiting list. For our dealers who utilize the FUN Pages to make periodic food runs for thier tables you might want to consider getting a prepaid credit card for the pages to use at the convention centers food courts.

The FUN organization has a limited number of older display cases that we have acquired over the years that are not compatible with our storage methods and we have had to be stored them on pallets. They are in good condition with working locks. The Board of Directors has opted to dispose of these cases at $50.00 each. If you are interested in them contact Keys and Cases during the show.

The opening ceremony for the 69th Annual FUN convention will start at 9:45 a.m. Thursday January 4 th 2024.

The Orange County Convention Center (OCCC) has developed a mobile App to help you navigate the convention center. This download link (OCCC App Download) will help you find your way around the the convention center. View transportation options. List the events, give you a 3D view of the inside of the facilites to help you locate the bathrooms and the permanently stationed food locations.

For room blocks, you can Email Reservations for FUN Show Hotels. Make sure you are in "the right place" by always going to WWW.FUNTopics.com and clicking on the Official Hotel page. Our hotel housing bureau will never call or email requesting you book your room and they will never post a deadline to book. Avoid the scammers and book ONLY through the FUN website. Our hotels are giving us ridiculously low rates for the Orlando area, so book your rooms early and lock in those values.

You may also call our toll free reservations number, Monday - Friday 8:30 AM - 5:30 PM, Eastern Time: (855) 454-2770.

Please be careful of callers or emails using phishing tactics claiming to be associated with FUN. These scams have become extremely aggressive.
